There are nightly shows, mostly dancing with lip-syncing. The animation staff were less pushy compared to the other Riu. The crowd at this resort was mostly older, mostly Americans, Canadians, Germans. At around 11PM they turned on the lights and people were starting to go to bed. There is no disco at this resort. Both Rius are located on the Bloody Bay. So, if you want to go out, you need to take a taxi to the disco at the other Riu or to one of the popular places near the main seven mile beach, such as Jungle.

Riu Tropical Palace - Negril, Jamaica - May 2012!
